Enter the world of Buddhism spirituality with the Buddhacloud app. Listen to its guided meditations to cultivate calm states of mind, or to improve your mindfulness, or to work on your heart and become more compassionate. And then search the library of teachings, drawn from the most ancient Buddhist records, to understand what the Buddha had to say about such things as life, death, meditation, suffering, happiness, morality and kindness.
Buddhacloud does not simply offer therapeutic means of achieving personal happiness and flourishing. the Buddhas teachings are much broader than that. By browsing the library of teachings, and listening to its guided meditations, you can navigate the spiritual landscape of the Buddha, and so develop your own understanding of an ancient tradition of wisdom.
The Buddhacloud App arranges the Buddhas teachings into 9 categories: world, compassion, virtue, wisdom, mindfulness, path, self, liberation and Buddha. So far there are more than 500 teachings spread across these different categories; eventually there will be thousands of teachings.
These teachings are presented as they were initially remembered: as a series of wisdom stories, in which different people encounter the Buddha, talk with him, and learn something important from him.
Whether speaking to enquirers from distant lands, or to priests, kings, grizzled ascetics or drunks, the Buddha always has useful guidance on how to live correctly, and how to create spiritual purpose. Buddhacloud is a portal into this ancient world, allowing you to walk alongside the Buddha, to sit with him, listen to him, and take his advice if you so wish.
There are also original guided meditations derived from these teachings, and presented in six categories: calm, daily life, virtue, mindfulness, wisdom and refuge. The 30 guided meditations available upon release, each with an average time of 10 minutes, adapt the Buddhist spirituality to the modern world as never before. Buddhacloud will soon offer hundreds of meditations, all based on the Buddhas teachings, but re-imagined to help us live meaningful lives in the modern world.

Human problems are perennial; according to the Buddha, the world will always be in some kind of trouble. His teachings were offered as a raft to cross a flooded river, or a medicine to heal a poisoned wound.
This medicine includes teachings on psychological discipline, the impermanence of all worldly things, the problems with desire and addiction to pleasure, the practice of mindfulness, the simple merits of being kind, and the attainment of the ultimate freedom, Nirvana.
